WFM chess and WFM pie are two of my favorite desserts and are a great way to use up some of the dessert pie ingredients and/or get creative.
For a recipe that’s more dessert-centric, I’ve included the 3 pie recipes below that I have been using over the last several months.
If you want to make more, feel free to use this link to download the 3 pies and print them out for your next holiday party.
Chess vs. computer recipe: 1 cup almond milk (or soy milk or coconut milk) (I used almond milk) 2 cups almond flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract (optional) 1 large egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2/3 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature, plus extra for greasing baking pan 1 egg white, room temperature 1 1/2 cups shredded coconut, divided 1.
Whisk almond milk, almond flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract together in a bowl.
Whack the egg white with the butter and whisk in the coconut until combined.
Add the egg yolks and stir until combined (do not over-mix).
Fold in the almond flour mixture and coconut milk mixture until well combined.
Divide the pie batter between prepared baking pans and bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cool in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes before serving. 7. Enjoy!
